Visit to Fond du Lac

Owen and Daddy made a memorable visit to Fond du Lac over the weekend to spend time with Nick's friend Tom. Here are a few highlights of our time at the county fair and a historic light house.
After test driving every tractor several times, Owen decided that the Cub Cadet SC2400 TL with a 24 horse power Yanmar engine, 60 inch snow blower and 4 wheel drive was the way to go.

Owen's first carnival ride was a success for about 60 seconds. Then Owen decided it wasn't for him and Daddy had to hold him for the last 2 minutes. As soon as we got off the ride, Owen started pointing at the 60 foot tall Farris wheel ... maybe next year.

Owen tried to calculate the carbon footprint of the tractor pull but he could only count to 4.

Nothing gets the fans going like two wheels in the air.

We're not sure who was more confused during the Goat Calling Contest, Owen or the Goats.

At least there was live Polka Music Playing.

Tom and Owen were excited to make their first lighthouse visit.

Fond du Lac's Lighthouse at Lakeside Park stands 40 feet high and Owen climbed every step. Tom insisted on being carried, however.
